Commentary
Set of four yellow glazed earthenware plates in the fairy tales series (Fables of Fontaine): Les Souhaits Ridicules (Foolish Wishes), Le Barbe Bleue (Blue Beard), Peau D'Ane (The Donkey Skin), and Le Petit Chaperon Rouge (Little Red Riding Hood). All black transfer printed with a running fruiting grapevine border.
