Commentary
Andreson was an important teacher of ceramics who established the ceramics department at UCLA. She participated in the life of the university and donated this little bowl to the Student Art Sale at UCLA in the early 1950s. As such, it is an example of the functional pottery that was both much used and appreciated for both its practicality and its beauty.
