Commentary
This wheel-thrown, stoneware pitcher was made at Long Beach City College in 1997, with a shino, red iron glaze. Shino glaze originates in Japan and has a milky white appearance. A good friend of Frieda Bradsher’s, Richard Oelschlaeger attended several ceramics workshops with the former Long Beach Museum of Art docent.
