Commentary
This utilitarian stoneware bowl was made at Pond Farm in 1959 and is one of the few items that Marguerite glazed and then let her students take home. Frieda Bradsher, the donor of this work, was a student of Toshiko’s at Long Beach City College and was given this work by her in 2006.
