The Long Beach Museum of Art collection spans several regions throughout the world, including the United States, Latin America, Asia, and Europe. The United States art objects come from several parts of the country and are divided by region or State. The most extensive collection of United States art objects are works by California artists. Latin America is a smaller part of the collection and include works from Mexico and South America. Asian art objects are also a smaller aspect of the collection, with most of the works coming from Japan. The collection of European artworks contain an extensive amount of works from England and France with several other European countries being represented as well.
